UCPEA Produce and Craft Swap: Starting July 8, the UCPEA produce swap will resume so members with an abundance of their garden goodies can swap or share with other members. While swapping produce is encouraged, please stop by even if you have nothing to share. Members often have such an abundance; they don't want to take it home and are happy to share with fellow members!
In addition to the produce swap, UCPEA's Membership Services is introducing a new, fun and eco‑friendly Craft Swap! This community event is designed for creators of all kinds—sewers, knitters, painters, DIYers, scrapbookers, jewelry-makers, and anyone with a love for crafting. Bring gently used or new craft supplies you no longer need, and swap them for fresh materials and inspiration. Whether you’re looking to declutter your craft room, discover new tools and ideas, or connect with fellow makers, this event has something for everyone. All leftover items will be donated to local organizations that support arts and creativity.
The swap will take place on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month through September from 12-2pm. The first swap of each month will take place at the Student Union, while the second swap of each month will take place at the Wilfred B. Young Building (YNG).
- Dates at the Student Union: 7/8 (outside), 8/12 (inside), 9/9 (inside)
- Dates at the Young Building : 7/22 (inside), 8/26 (inside), 9/23 (outside)
