From Shirley Jackson to H. P. Lovecraft and beyond, we'll explore the strange, eerie, and mysterious side of New England literature.
No assigned reading required! Pick up anything that fits the theme, bring a favorite book or author to recommend, or simply join us for the conversation. If you'd like a place to start, try Shirley Jackson's short story “The Lottery” or her novel We Have Always Lived in the Castle.
