The UCPEA Book Club is launching this July!
We will meet virtually on the third Wednesday of each month to discuss books and connect with colleagues from across the university. Whether you are an avid reader or simply looking for an enjoyable conversation with fellow members, we welcome you to join us.
To help select our first book, please email Yaoguang Li at yaoguang.li@uconn.edu with your preferred title from the list below:
- Anne of Green Gables by L. M. Montgomery
- Letter from an Unknown Woman and Other Stories by Stefan Zweig
- The Weight of a Human Heart by Ryan O'Neill
- Braiding Sweetgrass by Robin Wall Kimmerer
- Chemistry for Breakfast: the amazing science of everyday life by Mai Thi Nguyen-Kim
All five titles are available online through UConn Library, making it easy for members to access the selected book.
You are also welcome to recommend other books you would like the club to consider now or in the future 😊
Please send your vote and any recommendations by June 30th. The first book selection and meeting details will be announced during the first week of July.
We look forward to reading with you!
