UCPEA is proud to announce the 2026 Recognition Awards! Starting this year, in addition to our annual Unionist of the Year award, we are introducing two new awards: the Advocacy Award and the Campus Connection Award.
The Advocacy Award recognizes an UCPEA member who has demonstrated leadership, guidance, and solidarity in their unit by helping bring significant positive change for members in their department or area.
The Campus Connection Award recognizes an UCPEA member from one of the University’s six regional campuses who exemplifies solidarity through their investment in their campus community.
The Unionist of the Year award recognizes an UCPEA member who has shown exceptional knowledge, passion, and enthusiasm for labor union work.
You can submit nominations for each award starting now through March 31st, 2026. Awards will be distributed at the Annual Membership Meeting in May!
