$100,000 is available every contract year (July 1 – June 30) for partial reimbursement of childcare expenses for employees in UCPEA represented positions. Children must be dependent(s) of an employee working in an UCPEA represented position and less than 13 years old, unless the dependent child has a documented disability.

Families where both parents are employed in an UCPEA represented position may apply for reimbursement individually so long as the applications are requesting reimbursement for different expenses, i.e., for a two-parent family with two children, each parent may apply for reimbursement of one child’s daycare expenses. A maximum of $5,000 in expenses will be considered for reimbursement per filing period.

Reimbursement requests are only considered for day care expenses from a state licensed day care facility. Summer day camp expenses are also eligible for reimbursement up to $350 per week.

Late applications will not be accepted. If a deadline falls on a weekend or holiday, applications will be due on the next business day. To complete your application, please visit:
